About

Shames Mountain is easily one of the best 'little places that rock' that we've come across. Incredible backcountry terrain accessed by a dinky little t-bar and 2-man chair. Good times.

Shames Mountain BackcountryLocated off the coast of Northern BC nestled between Prince Rupert & Terrace, this place basically gets pounded with snow all winter long. Well, atleast, we haven't been there with less than a meter fresh, so it's got Doglotion's vote. Go there, find out for yourself.

Winter 05 06 Was Epic

Submitted by Shames Mountain on Thu, 2006-08-10 20:19.

Doglotion.com's trip out to Shames Mountain in 03/04 and 04/05 yeilded some of the most epic ski days that any of us could remember. We missed 0506, but judging by how BC basically got pounded by snow all winter, we know it must have been epic, and we missed it.

Stay tuned for blogs from up north.
